Zehnthof is located in the historical center of Sulzfeld, and was purchased by our parents and grandparents in the 1970s. It was during that same era that our estate joined the VDP as well. In the past two decades, we’ve steadily increased our share of Silvaner, the traditional local grape variety. Today over 60% of our vineyards are planted with Silvaner, in all four major variants: Grüner, Gelber, Roter and Blauer Silvaner.

Our focus always was and remains our vineyards. It’s where we spend most of our time throughout the winegowing year, working to create the best possible grapes in harmony with nature and organic guidelines. The wines are vinified in traditional doppelstück barrels, with the reds raised in small pièce casks after maceration.
